Out-of-Body Experiences and the Edges of Consciousness, with Dr. Marina Weiler

What really happens when we leave the body? Can consciousness travel beyond physical limits? And if so, who—or what—might we meet on the other side?
In this mind-expanding episode of Connecting with Coincidence, psychiatrist Dr. Bernard Beitman sits down with neuroscientist Dr. Marina Weiler to explore the mysteries of out-of-body experiences (OBEs), near-death experiences (NDEs), astral travel, and the frontiers of consciousness. Together, they navigate the liminal space where science meets the mystical—and where synchronicity might offer unexpected guidance.
Although Marina has never had an OBE herself, she shares vivid accounts of paranormal experiences, including dreams of the deceased and poltergeist-like disturbances. Bernard offers his own story of a surreal out-of-body journey to what he calls the “coincidence control office.” The result is a rich and personal dialogue about how these extraordinary events challenge our assumptions about life, death, and the mind.
Can we truly leave our bodies behind? Is it possible to encounter other beings—human or not—on the astral plane? And what role might synchronicity and intention play in opening these doors of perception?
Whether you're a skeptic, seeker, or scientist, this conversation will stir your curiosity about what lies just beyond our physical senses—and how expanding our awareness might change the way we live.
